Fresh out of college, he left his hometown for a big-city job. Chasing titles and paychecks, he worked late nights and weekends, thinking success would be worth the sacrifice. A reserved engineer by nature, he rarely expressed affection. But as the years passed, the people he loved began to leave—one by one. Loneliness set in, and so did the realization: no amount of money can replace the joy of spending time with those who matter most.
